Rhiannon and Charlie helped decorate the tree, but we had to move the ornaments up a little bit. They put all the ornaments on the branches they could reach!

We went to cut our own Christmas tree again this year. It's a small farm just up the road, and the kids love it! It was actually cold when we went this year-last year we had to take off our coats and hats! PS-don't worry, Mom, those are plastic saws Rhiannon and Charlie are holding!

My little Black kitten and a mini-Spiderman! They had a great time at Halloween-although they got pretty tired walking the neighborhood!

Our summer has come and gone in a flash! We celebrated many things over the past couple of months. First, we found out that we're having a baby in January! Charlie turned 3 years old and was potty trained! Rhiannon just had her 5th birthday, and started kindergarten! And last but not least, we learned that Baby Eason is a boy! Whew! What a summer!

Topsail Beach!

I've finally put these pictures on the computer, and can share them! We all had a great time, but we did miss Mom & Dad P! We spent a part of each day playing in the sand and water. The kids loved it-they weren't scared at all. We had to have some rules: 1. Don't eat the sand 2. Don't drink the water 3. Don't put sand in your eyes.

Matt came down for a few days and it was great to see him. Charlie's already asked about 5 times if we can go back to the beach!

Our new floor!

Well, we have finished our first really big do-it-yourself project and I am very proud of us! We ripped out our old carpet and put in beautiful, new floors! The kids love them, they're constantly running around the house. Charlie loves the new floors because his cars and trucks roll forever! It took us about 3 weekends to get it all finished. Our couches lived in the kitchen while we did the floor, and it got a little crazy. But it was worth it!

Snow Day! This was the first really good snow of Charlie's life-last year we only got a dusting, which turned more into rain than snow. He and Rhiannon had a blast sledding and making snow angels. We just about had to drag them in, they were having so much fun!

Just a typical Saturday for us. I finally have a chance to get some pictures up. It seems that between Christmas and Spring, we all catch colds and hibernate! We did come out to go to our neighbor's 4th birthday party (at Chuck E. Cheese). The kids loved it-as you can tell!
