As usual, our summer is flying by! I am really enjoying being home with the kids this year-even though it has been incredibly busy (& a little exhausting!) We got to see Mom & Barbara in June, and Matt came to the beach with us in July. Brian & Andy did some fishing in Andy's boat, and they both loved it! We took a trip to the aqaurium in Fort Fisher this year-super fun, but super HOT! Charlie turned 4, and Brian & I celebrated our 10th anniversary!!!! Rhiannon starts 1st grade in just over a month, Charlie will be in the 4 year old class, and Nick will start daycare too! He is now a professional "roller", which is his preferred method of getting around. Hopefully, I will be able to update this site more often, but, I've said that before!

Just an update of how Nick (and the rest of the family) is adjusting! We're slowly moving out of "survival mode" and back into comfortable day to day living. I don't know how that will change once I go back to work on the 29th of this month, but we'll adjust with it I guess! Nick's getting bigger and bigger, and is starting to sleep for about 5 hours at a time overnight. Rhiannon and Charlie still love him to pieces and I'm so thankful for that!

Welcome!

Nicholas joined our family on January 16 (12 days early!) and we are overjoyed to finally get to meet him! Rhiannon and Charlie are so thrilled to have a baby brother-they love to hold him. So far, he's a sweet baby with very chubby kissable cheeks!
